If you are an acolyte or crucifer or are interested in becoming one or just curious, you are requested to attend a training session at 9:00 am this Sunday, 28 August 2011.The only qualification other than baptism is the ability to negotiate the three steps to the chancel while carrying something. Our acolytes are all ages. It would be nice to have a male or two. It would be especially wonderful to have many volunteers so we can have torches again!
Last Sunday the need for acolytes/crucifers was very obvious as the scheduled person didn't appear and there were no others present.
